Seiya dances …
the “Dance of the Moon”.

 “If the moonlight of one May night touches you: Awake and go on the trip! Fly into the country of the soul, there - to the sound of the drum - wishes  become possible, and what belongs to your heart, becomes true.”

Seiya is a choreographer, coorganizer and organizer of the magic orientalistic dance shows “Dance of the Moon”. Since 2003 she enchants together with Apsara Habiba the visitors of this unusual dance event.

The dancers Xahira and Mephista (Duo Karma) are also a firm component of the shows .

“Dance of the Moon” is orientalistic dancing. Outgoing from romantic-transfigured images of the orient as a fantastic, enchanted, archaic world, “Dance of the Moon” forms a gate to our wishes and longings, to dream and imagination. In the “Dance of the Moon” you find four very expressive dancers with her different dance styles and unite her visions to a harmonious whole: to an evening of full poetry and magic, to spectacular dance presentations and magic energy. Besides, the spectrum reaches from enticing-beguiling belly dancing up to hypnotic-ecstatic scenarios. Always, however, they create breathtaking pictures which sketch a counterworld and kidnap the audience from the rationality of the everyday life. The moon is not only a name giver of the show, but also inspiration and inexhaustible strength spring from which itself the wideness and variety of the dances and pictures feeds. As witches, goddesses, gipsies the dancers play with variations of the oriental dance. Sometimes easily and delightfully, sometimes wildly and when they dance to the change of the moon and the seasons then as rainbow women they let forgotten empires resurrect.

“The moon as a ruler of the dreams wakes up longings which come from the bottom of the soul and flow from us because we would die, our heart would remain close … The changeable moon lures and recollections rise from concealed soul dreams. “Dance of the Moon III”  was performed for the first time on the 30th of April 2009 in Cologne. The pictures opposed here come from this show.
